Hi, I am Riv, an online inspirer, lifestyle and wellness blogger, content creator, and legal practitioner.

I joined the online community in 2013 when I started my blog, The Glam Unicorn, during university as a creative outlet from my studies. The Glam Unicorn was originally created as a beauty blog to highlight affordable beauty products and DIY recipes for people on a budget who had a passion for being creative.

Once I graduated from University and joined the working world I realised that I had evolved professionally, creatively, and personally. After much debate, I decided to rebrand to Riv Pillay, to showcase my growth in the online community. 

Riv Pillay is not just a blog but a brand that focuses on wholesome living and the little wonders of life. It is the place where you can find beauty and skincare reviews, outfit inspirations, and my own personal style, lifestyle-orientated content such as travel, recipes, aesthetics, and anecdotes of life.
